If you have never reserved a charter boat trip, you are in for a treat! But, we understand that you may have a few questions first.

The Charter Boats

Q. How big are your charter boats ?

A. Our fishing charter boats are 24′ with a 10 ft. beam.

Q. Do your charter boats provide shade ?

A. Yes, the fishing boats have a wide T-top for providing adequate shade.

Q. Do your charter boats have a bathroom ?

A. No, but don’t worry. We are happy stop at a local marina or restaurant for emergencies.

Q. Do you have flotation devices for everyone aboard the charter boat ?

A. Yes, your safety is our priority and our boats are equipped with safety equipment required by regulatory laws.

Reservation Arrangements

Q. What are your rates ?

A. Our standard rates are based on a trip for three people. Each additional person is charged $50. Please visit our Rates Page for more details.

Q. How many passengers can occupy your charter boats ?

A. A maximum of six people can fit comfortably in our charter boats.

Q. Is a deposit required to reserve a charter boat ?

A. Reservations require a $100 deposit.

Q. What is your cancellation policy ?

A. Charter cancellations more than 14 days prior to a scheduled trip receive a full refund. For full details visit our Booking information.

Q. Is bait and fuel an extra charge ?

A. There is no extra charge. Trip prices include fuel, bait, tackle and fishing licenses (based on three people).

Q. Are children allowed ?

A. All children are welcome to experience quality fishing in SW Florida.

Q. Can we show up with extras in our party ?

A. We welcome additional guests; however, please provide 24 hour notice. A charge of $50 will be applied for each additional guest. A maximum of six people can be accommodated in each trip.

The Fishing Trip

Q. What time do trips usually leave ?

A. Times may vary according to the tide and other factors, but our charters typically start at 8am and 1pm.

Q. Where do the charter boats board ?

A. Departures are scheduled daily from the beautiful Port Sanibel Marina, just 1 mile before the toll bridge leading to Sanibel Island in the southwestern tip of Lee County in Fort Myers, Florida.

Q. Can I bring my own rods? ?

A. Yes, but please let us know when you book your charter.

Q. What should I bring on my charter ?

A. We recommend bring snacks and drinks. We are happy to provide a cooler with ice and bottled water. Also, it’s always a good idea to bring sunscreen (non aerosol), hats, and cameras.

Q. Will I get seasick ?

A. Our fishing spots typically have very small waves, so there is only a slight chance of seasickness.

Q. Can we stop for lunch while we’re on our trip ?

A. Yes, if time permits. There are many restaurants we can reach by boat on our excursion.

Q. Can I keep the fish I catch ?

A. Yes, if the fish is in season and of the legal size, you are free to keep your catch.

Q. Is it customary to tip the captain ?

A. Yes, your captain will appreciate a tip.

Q. What type of fishing gear do you provide ?

A. We provide state-of-the-art Quantum rods and reels that are well maintained to ensure a high quality fishing trip.

Q. What kind of fish will we catch ?

A. Depending on the trip you charter and the time of year, our captains put our guests on snook, snapper, grouper redfish, speckled sea trout, Spanish mackerel, and many more local fish.

Q. How big are the fish? ?

A. Bay fish typically range between 15 to 25 inches, but can be bigger.

Q. What areas do your fishing trips and sightseeing excursion travel ?
